Africanus.net's Dedicated Wireless Access Plan provides a dedicated connection for high speed access to the Internet. May be your company requires many concurrent users or large complex files that need to be moved between sites or perhaps you are keen to establish an active presence on the WWW.

Whatever your requirements, this Plan's 64K connectivity delivers continuous on-line access to the Internet with no ongoing charges. This type of connectivity allows your users to access the Internet whenever they need to send or receive e-mail, transfer files, participate in newsgroups or retrieve information from the web. Mail is delivered to you immediately, as long as your server is on-line.

For the duration of the subscription a Class C address will be provided to the customers.

Hardware Requirements

An Internet Protocol (IP) router supporting Cisco High Level Data Link Control (HDLC). The router may be supplied by Africanus.net Ltd and will be responsible for its installation and configuration.
Provision of a System to act as the primary Domain Name Service (DNS) and to act as the primary mail-host Any mail destined for your site that cannot be delivered immediately will be securely stored and forwarded to your mail server when it is next available.

Software Requirements
A network capable to support TCP/IP communication either from each host or via a gateway.

The Installation process can often be simplified by using your LAN's central server as a gateway. If required Africanus Ltd can offer a range of software solutions to facilitate using your server in this way.
Support

Africanus offers two support schemes, one providing telephone support and another offering on-site support. These would have to be quoted after discussion with the customer and costs may also depend on the extent of first line support that the customer's staff can handle.
